Job description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our distinguished team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of diseases, injuries, and defects involving the mouth, jaws, and related facial structures. This role entails performing complex surgical procedures, including dental implants, orthognathic surgery, trauma management, and reconstructive surgeries. This position requires strong clinical expertise, excellent communication, and a patient-centered approach. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities: Perform detailed assessments and develop individualized surgical treatment plans. Conduct various surgical procedures with precision and adherence to safety standards. Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care for optimal recovery. Coordinate with dental and medical professionals to ensure integrated patient care. Educate patients and families about treatment processes, risks, and post-surgical care. Maintain accurate patient records and comply with regulatory requirements. Stay current with advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery through ongoing education and training.
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Board certification and a valid state license to practice. Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Expertise in a broad range of surgical techniques and procedures. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and team members. Strong dedication to patient care, safety, and ongoing professional development.
