Job description

At Cayuga Displays an Assembly Technician, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing and assembly of temperature-controlled products, including refrigerated showcases and food bars. Your contributions will directly impact product quality and customer satisfaction, while supporting the company's commitment to excellence and innovation. Key responsibilities include: Assembling temperature-controlled products according to engineering drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures Working with sheet metal, wiring, and glass components to ensure precise assembly Performing in-process quality inspections to maintain high standards Troubleshooting and resolving assembly and testing issues as they arise Collaborating with engineering and design teams to provide feedback for product improvement Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area Supporting woodworking operations as required Performing other duties as assigned to support overall production goals This job posting is for a current vacancy with our client. Required Qualifications: 2+ years of hands-on assembly or manufacturing experience Experience reading and following technical drawings Experience assembling metal and/or wood products Experience using small hand tools and power tools for assembly work, including sliding table saws Basic wiring experience Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for an entire workday, and perform repetitive motion tasks Legally authorized to work in Canada Willingness to work overtime when needed Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent
