English Literature Teacher

We are looking for English Literature Teacher for an international school in Shanghai. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August 2026. Job responsibilities Teach the subject of English literature to high school students utilizing the AP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Bachelor degree or above in the related subject Teaching certificate Two or more years teaching experience in the subject in higher education Excellent communications skills Good understanding of teaching in AP context

Monthly salary 25,000 to 28,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications Monthly housing allowance of 6,000 RMB Fully paid summer and winter holiday Public holiday Airfare reimbursement once a year up to 10,000 RMB each year Medical insurance provided Complimentary breakfast and lunch provided on campus
