Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our retail pharmacy team. This role involves frequent interaction with patients, working day shifts, and utilizing systems like PRIME RX and MICROMERCHANT to ensure efficient prescription processing and medication dispensing. The ideal candidate will be skilled in medication preparation, inventory management, and customer service while adhering to regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately using pharmacy software
• Manage inventory and conduct pill counting
• Process prescriptions and maintain patient records
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with patients
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
• Utilize PRIME RX and MICROMERCHANT systems for daily tasks
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standard medication knowledge
• Perform drug lift processing and basic math calculations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy practice experience
• Proficient with pharmacy software and medication dispensing
• Strong inventory management skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain regulatory compliance
• Effective time management and teamwork skills
