Learning support Assistant "May 2026"

Egypt Education Platform is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join the team starting April 2026. The successful candidate will provide essential support to students with diverse learning needs within an inclusive educational setting at GEMS British International School Madinaty . This role requires a compassionate individual committed to enhancing student learning experiences and outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with lead teachers to support differentiated learning activities tailored to individual student needs. Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students requiring additional academic support. Assist in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and monitoring student progress. Help manage classroom behavior to maintain a positive and productive learning environment. Support the preparation and organization of teaching materials and classroom resources. Engage with parents and staff to communicate student development and foster a team approach to support.

Relevant certification or degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field. Experience working in a learning support role within an educational environment is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English. Patience, empathy, and dedication to supporting students with diverse learning needs. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Adaptability and proactive approach to supporting a dynamic classroom environment.
