iOS Engineer (HYBRID, Cairo)

Role Overview: We are hiring for a fast-growing technology company building advanced digital identity and verification solutions used across multiple industries. Their platform enables secure, scalable, and seamless user verification, helping organizations reduce fraud while delivering a smooth customer experience. We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to take ownership of our mobile application experience on iOS. You will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing high-quality mobile features, ensuring performance, scalability, and an exceptional user experience. This role requires strong expertise in native iOS development, a product mindset, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. Location : Hybrid in Cairo (3 days onsite) Contract : Full-time or long-term contract Responsibilities: Design and develop high-quality iOS applications using modern Apple frameworks Own end-to-end feature development, from requirements to production release Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and reliability of the application Optimize app performance, memory usage, and load times Maintain clean, maintainable, and well-documented code Identify and resolve bugs, edge cases, and performance bottlenecks Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for mobile development Ensure compliance with Apple guidelines and accessibility standards Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers where needed

5+ years of experience in iOS development Strong proficiency in Swift and the iOS SDK Experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture) Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data flows Strong knowledge of performance optimization, memory management, and debugging tools Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with mobile security best practices Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
