CNC Machinist

We’re recruiting experienced CNC Machinists (Millers, Grinders and EDM Operators) to join a well-established, growing manufacturer supplying high-precision components to the aerospace and power generation industries. We’ve partnered with this business for over 20 years, and they’re known for their excellent working environment, strong leadership, and long-term career prospects. The role You’ll operate CNC machinery to produce high-quality, precision components, ensuring all work meets strict quality and customer standards. What we’re looking for Previous experience in CNC Milling, Grinding or EDM Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Experience inspecting your own work to quality standards Aerospace experience is advantageous but not essential Willingness to develop machine setting skills Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Shift pattern (no weekends) Morning 05:45 – 13:45 (Mon–Thu) 05:45 – 10:45 (Fri) Afternoon 13:45 – 21:45 (Mon–Thu) 10:45 – 15:45 (Fri) Night 21:45 – 05:45 (Mon–Thu) 15:45 – 20:45 (Fri) Please note: Sponsorship is not available. Key responsibilities include: Operating CNC Milling, Grinding or EDM machines Machining parts in line with approved method specifications Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Setting up fixtures and aligning components correctly Self-inspecting parts using manual measuring equipment Supporting inspections using CMM equipment Achieving production, quality and housekeeping targets Working in full compliance with quality, safety and company procedures
