Accountant/Senior Accountant

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant/ Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Hong Kong. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting, maintaining compliance with local regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Hong Kong financial practices and general ledger management. Responsibilities: Financial Reporting and Analysis Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including processing journal entries, general ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations and schedules. Prepare, review and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements/group’s reports in accordance with Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) and company policies. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement in operational efficiency. Coordinate with share service team on monthly closing and other financial issues Assist in monthly forecast, annual budget preparation, stocktaking, long aged stock review, fixed assets monitoring, audit and tax filing schedule and documentation Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and reviewing their work for accuracy. Support in pricing calculations and ad hoc projects, including but not limited to system automation projects, etc.
