About the Role We’re looking for an experienced and people-focused HR Generalist to join our team in Ft. Myers. This position will report directly to the COO and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR operations of the hospital. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, approachable, and skilled at balancing compliance, communication, and compassion in every interaction. Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the team member lifecycle , including onboarding, status changes, leaves of absence, and separations Administer benefits programs , ensuring accurate enrollment, billing, and team member communication Serve as the primary contact for FMLA, ADA, and other leave-related matters , maintaining compliance with state and federal laws Partner with the finance team to ensure payroll accuracy, benefit deductions, and HR-related reporting Maintain and enforce OSHA and workplace safety compliance , coordinating required training and documentation Provide guidance and support to hospital leadership in team member relations, corrective action, and policy interpretation Collaborate with the HR team to ensure consistency across Fetch hospitals Maintain accurate and confidential team member records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements Assist with recruiting and retention initiatives as needed Why Fetch? Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in HR generalist or HR administration role Working knowledge of employment law, FMLA, and OSHA regulations Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels Experience with HRIS systems ( Paychex experience a plus ) SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
