Job Description
This role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial accounting and reporting for multiple entities with complex holding structures, including SPVs, property companies, and holding companies. The position manages end-to-end day-to-day accounting activities, prepares financial statements, NAVs, and management accounts, and supports tax, liquidity, and reporting requirements. The role also plays a key part in month-end close and year-end audit processes, working closely with internal teams, administrators, and external auditors to ensure compliance, data integrity, and high-quality financial outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including processing bank statements, invoices, transactions, accruals, provisions, and maintaining interest, amortization, and depreciation schedules.
- Manage month-end close activities, including reconciliations, intercompany accounting, review of accruals and provisions, and advising on intercompany settlements.
- Prepare financial statements, NAVs, management accounts, cash flows, quarterly NAV and FMV reports, and other financial and management information.
- Support tax and financing requirements by providing financial data for corporate tax and GST filings, assisting with lending bank information packages, and performing liquidity reporting and analysis.
- Lead year-end and audit-related activities, including preparation of internal and external reports and annual accounts, assisting with consolidations, coordinating with auditors and administrators, and producing ad hoc reports and reconciliations.

ABOUT YOU:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience; CA or equivalent professional qualification is a strong advantage.
- Systems & Technical Expertise: Mandatory hands-on experience with Yardi, strong familiarity with financial and accounting reporting systems, advanced computer and spreadsheet skills, and experience with SOX and internal controls.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven experience supporting direct real estate investments and working with complex entity and holding structures.
- Analytical & Execution Skills: Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, research and resolve technical accounting issues, and summarize findings into clear recommendations and decisions.
- Professional & Interpersonal Skills: Strong attention to detail, integrity, and professionalism; proactive and initiative-driven team player with fluency in written and spoken English and the ability to adapt to changing requirements.
