By bridging the gap between marketing tech stack data and financial outcomes, the Senior Financial Analyst ensures that every dollar spent is optimized for subscriber acquisition and retention. This individual will transform complex performance KPIs into strategic narratives that guide senior leadership and the Board of Directors in high-stakes decision-making. What Success Looks Like (Objectives) Accurate financial forecasting for marketing spend and subscriber acquisition to provide visibility into growth engine efficiency. Collaborative partnership with Brand and Performance leads to align financial resources with aggressive acquisition OKRs. High-impact financial reporting that integrates marketing technology data with revenue outcomes to strengthen feedback loops. Sophisticated financial models that track acquisition costs and evaluate the efficacy of promotional offers or new market entries. Quarterly presentations that translate marketing performance into clear financial insights for the Board of Directors. AI-enhanced analytical workflows to automate data collection from disparate sources and improve the speed of decision-making. Skills, Experience and Requirements Core Skills and Competencies (What you’ll bring) Critical experiences in managing annual budgets within a fast-paced marketing or performance-driven environment. Ability to define complex problems and establish root causes using imperfect data under tight timelines. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport at all levels and effectively influence decisions without direct authority. Proven expertise in tailoring communication styles and complexity for audiences ranging from analysts to executives. Disciplined ownership of work products, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and integrity in every deliverable. AI application skills to leverage generative tools and automated models for enhanced data interpretation and efficiency. Additional Qualifications MBA or MS-Finance is strongly preferred to support strategic storytelling goals. Experience with enterprise systems such as Hyperion or OneStream. Minimum Requirements Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, specifically within marketing or growth finance.
