Based at our office in Dublin, the Quality Team Manager will act as a trusted advisor with expertise in FM Approvals third party testing and certification services to effectively oversee all auditing and quality management systems and processes including the management of the Notified Body and successful completion of internal and external audits. Leading a small team, the role has direct responsibility to support the Quality Management System (QMS) that has been created and endorsed by FM Approvals Accreditation Programs. This position ensures that the FM Approvals QMS meets / exceeds the requirements of all accreditation programs in accordance with recognised industry standards and other national and local accreditation requirements. This role supports auditing and quality management functions associated with the QMS in addition to initiating and driving continual improvement activities. Key Responsibilities Possess extensive knowledge of FM Approvals; its business processes; policies and procedures; governance practices; and regulatory obligations. Support the coordination and management of FM Approvals’ Notified Body. Support the completion of internal and external audits. This includes the surveillance audit program, quality system registration audits, internal audits, accreditation audits, etc. Recruit, interview, hire, develop, mentor and maintain a team of technically competent and motivated staff. Follow up and investigate the corrective action resolution of customer complaints, non-conformances and Notifications of Concerns. Create and deliver training programs related to areas of concern, onboarding, new or revised position requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a Technical Degree in a relevant engineering discipline Required Skills & Experience A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required, and 5 years of related quality auditing, process control and/or QA experience is preferred. Demonstrated project management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products. Previous experience of managing a technical team. High level of technical aptitude. Strong analytical/problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Excellent communication skills, oral and written. Technical writing experience would be advantageous. Ability to multi-task and prioritise. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. ISO 9001, 17020, 17025 and/or 17065 experience. ASQ, RABQSA / Exemplar Global or equivalent ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification ASQ certifications including CQA, CQE, CQI, CCT are beneficial. The role will involve extensive international travel.
