About this Unit: The Pediatric Med/Surg Unit has 24 Beds and we deliver care to pediatric patients requiring non-intensive care including specialty populations of pediatric hematololgy/oncology, solid organ transplant, GI/GU & metabolic cases. We also provide general medical surgical pediatric care, trauma, orthopedic, ENT, neurosurgical, & other care patients. Our team works together with the entire interdisciplinary team (MDs, NPs, NSTs, OT/PT, Speech, SW, etc) to deliver high quality care. Manages sophisticated medication and infusion therapies Cares for patient undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures/interventions on the unit. Demonstrates ability to safely and accurately operate unit equipment.
