Hygienist

We have a new role for a Hygienist to join our specialist orthodontic team at The Fabulous Smile Company, Wimbledon.

Our Wimbledon practice is a 5 surgery mixed practice specialising in Orthodontics, highly established and well regarded in the local area it’s a fantastic practice to join, the team work well together and have a lovely working environment.

We are now seeking a direct access Hygienist to join us!

We can offer

• A brand new role where you will receive all in house referrals for Hygiene appointments to support those who are 1) wanting to begin orthodontic treatment 2) Are going through treatment and need to maintain good hygiene 3) have finished treatment and enjoyed your services so much they want to keep coming back. There will also be an opportunity for us to market your services as a direct access Hygienist within the practice to none ortho patients.
• We have surgery space available on either Tuesdays or Fridays
• As this is a new role we can begin 1 day a month / bi weekly whilst the books build. Increasing to 1 or 2 days per week. Based on existing enquiries we are positive this will build quickly.
• Nurse support available
• A fantastic opportunity to lead on the service within a specialist practice environment
• Join a highly skilled team consisting of 5 Specialist Orthodontists, 2 Orthodontic Therapists and 6 Nurses.
• Within walking distance of both Broadway and Wimbledon station
• A residential area with private car parks also available nearby

The ideal candidate

• If you are a GDC registered Hygienist OR a GDC Dental Therapist who enjoys working as a Hygienist we would love to hear from you
• This is an autonomous role, ideally suited to those who are experienced in direct access with exemption certificate training, radiography and indemnity for direct access
• The idea of launching this service will greatly appeal to you, a chance to make something your own and receive all practice patient appointments
• Right to work in the UK is essential (sponsorship not available)
