Overview PepsiCo Foods Canada has current openings for a LASR Driver at our Scarborough Distribution Centre for a 6 month contract position Compensation: $29.70 per hour Shift: Flexibility in scheduling is a key requirement for this position Candidates will be required to provide at least 36 hours of availability per week What you can expect from us: A dynamic and inclusive culture that promotes you to bring your whole self to work A supportive and collaborative team invested in your growth and development An opportunity to be meaningful and impactful within your work and projects An organization that aims to use their scale, reach and expertise to build a more sustainable world Responsibilities Conducting pre/post-trip truck inspections to ensure proper and safe handling conditions Involved in preparing daily route trucks with accurate product selection following pre-printed pick sheets Verifying order accuracy prior to delivery Safely transporting product to and from a specified location, in a pre-determined sequence Loading and unloading product to and from box trucks Completing required paperwork (Daily driver logs, Signature of Receipts, etc.) Verifying and retrieving all carton returns, product returns, and other return items Sort, tie and stack cardboard, as well as conduct physical inventories as required Interacting with customers, sales team, and warehouse personnel on a daily basis Ability to deliver business results by meeting and exceeding target goals Complying with all DOT and NSC regulations Qualifications Valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required Experience with a 5-ton vehicle considered an asset Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to complete routes safely in all weather conditions Ability to handle high-pressure situations Power the Brands People Love From the products on shelves to the moments consumers share every day, PepsiCo’s frontline teams make it happen.
