POSITION: Operations & Custodial Supervisor

REPORTS TO: Performance Hall Operations Manager                 

FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt, hourly

THE ROLE

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain the cleanliness of all areas within facility.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures and restock supplies as needed.
• Maintain and replenish cleaning supplies and materials to ensure adequate stock level.
• Refinish floors, maintain custodial equipment and monitor waste and recycling.
• Lead post event clean ups.
• Monitor and report any facility maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.
• Lead contract custodial staff.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include training new employees

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience        

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in larger facilities with multiple types of floors preferred.

Skills and Abilities  

• Demonstrate knowledge of cleaning and custodial methods and techniques including the use of chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to accomplish tasks and duties without direct supervision.
• Demonstrate knowledge of basic tools.
• Previous custodial experience in a similar facility preferred. 
• Ability to work nights, weekends, post events, and holidays.
• Must be able to train and monitor part-time staff while completing other duties.
