This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, delivering specialized surgical care to infants, neonates, and children. As a Consultant in Pediatric and Neonatal Surgery, you will be responsible for managing complex surgical cases, guiding junior medical staff, and contributing to the advancement of pediatric and neonatal surgical services. Key Responsibilities Perform advanced surgical procedures on pediatric and neonatal patients, including both elective and emergency surgeries. Evaluate, diagnose, and develop comprehensive surgical treatment plans for young patients. Provide expert consultation and guidance to medical teams regarding pediatric and neonatal surgical cases. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neonatologists, pediatricians, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care. Monitor patient recovery, manage post-operative care, and address any complications. Educate and counsel families about surgical procedures, risks, and expected outcomes. Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to healthcare policies and standards. Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.

Medical degree with specialization in Pediatric and Neonatal Surgery from an accredited institution. Board certification or equivalent qualifications in Pediatric Surgery and Neonatal Surgery. Valid medical license to practice in Sharjah, UAE. Extensive experience managing complex pediatric and neonatal surgical cases. Strong clinical knowledge of neonatal physiology, pediatric surgical techniques, and postoperative care. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to best practice standards.
