If so, Guardian is seeking an experienced, results-focused, and energetic marketing manager to join our Member Engagement and Service Marketing Team for the Group Employee Benefits business.
This role will collaborate closely across marketing, product, enrollment, claims and client management teams to develop and execute omnichannel marketing strategies that enable our members to better understand and use their benefits. Based on this, the successful candidate will develop and implement results-oriented marketing plans executed across a variety of marketing channels, to drive create/use customer journey mapping to help enhance the customer experience. This role will establish KPIs and goals for campaign programs and communicate the results to key business stakeholders. This role requires strategic thinking, in a fast-paced environment, business acumen, collaboration, prioritization, attention to detail, a passion for our customers, and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
You are:
- A successful direct-to- consumer, B2C or B2B2C Marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. You are well-organized and have a collaborative and flexible personality who adapts easily to change.
- Able to drive alignment between marketing, product, claims and client management to further business growth, and build relationships to accomplish work across business functions.
- Experience with translating business objectives and customer insights into marketing campaigns with proven results against goals. Experienced with developing campaign hypotheses, analyzing campaign data, and coming to conclusions quickly to keep programs moving forward toward goal.
- Capable of understanding digital solutions and their impact on a customer experience, and adept at explaining their benefit to a variety of internal and external audiences.
- Comfortable with subject matter experts, executives, and peers. You can collaborate across departments to transform conceptual thinking into executable insights and inform customer segmentation opportunities and create useful sales enablement tools.
- A strong communicator (written and verbal) and has strong executive presence.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of direct to consumer, B2C/B2B2C working with business to develop campaigns and resources designed to enhance the customer experience
- Strong track record of developing and executing multi-channel digital marketing programs with tangible results. Experience with customer segmentation.
- Presentation skills that include creating engagement with stakeholders and sharing technical content at appropriate audience levels
- Proven collaboration across cross-functional teams at the rep and management levels
- Experience with marketing automation platforms, prospecting databases, and knowledge of web analytics tools, social media management and social selling platforms
- Demonstrated willingness to ‘roll up your sleeves to get things done
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and make data-driven decisions
- Prior experience in managing consumer-focused marketing campaigns in the healthcare / insurance industry or financial services
- Strong understanding of life and disability insurance/ leave planning solutions a plus
- Account-Based Marketing (ABM) experience with proven results against goals and experience with ABM platforms (like Demand Base) a plus
- MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT)
You will:
- Develop and implement results-oriented marketing plans executed across a variety of marketing channels, including digital and account-based marketing, to drive member engagement.
- Establish KPIs and goals for campaign programs and communicate the results to key business stakeholders. Ensure successful ROI-focused planning, implementation, and execution of marketing plans across the full range of marketing channels (web, email, paid media, webinar)
- Think strategically to provide marketing leadership to develop and execute omnichannel campaigns that achieve the business’s short and long-term goals, and generate buy-in and support for marketing programs from the sales team
- Ensure fast, clear communication of all relevant marketing activities and tools to relevant stakeholders, and collect regular feedback
- Identify, develop, implement, and improve customer enablement tools, programs, and training to support member engagement and digital adoption to decrease costs, improve productivity and achieve business results
- Inform and train internal teams, distribution teams, and customer-facing staff on marketing programs and planholder enablement tools
- Understand the customer journey from end-to-end. Bring original thinking in innovating new ways to reach, engage and convert target customers
- Measure and report performance for marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) and drive ongoing data-driven insights
- Be a strong storyteller…. Create new ideas/approaches to effectively enhance the communication of key messages in sales presentations
Salary Range:
$95,170.00 - $156,355.00The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
