Vehicle Prepper

Responsibilities Prepare vehicles for painting, finishing, or delivery by performing cleaning, sanding, masking, and minor bodywork as required. Inspect vehicles for defects and ensure all surfaces are properly prepped and ready for the next stage in the process. Assist in polishing, buffing, and finishing painted surfaces to meet quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area and tools. Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with painters, mechanics, and other team members to ensure timely completion of vehicle preparation tasks. Record work completed and report any issues or damages found during preparation.

Proven experience in vehicle preparation, body shop, or automotive finishing roles. Basic knowledge of automotive painting and finishing processes. Ability to use sanding tools, masking materials, and cleaning equipment effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Good physical stamina and manual dexterity. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Strong adherence to health and safety regulations. Good communication skills.
