Responsibilities Repair and restore damaged vehicle bodies to their original condition, including straightening frames and replacing or repairing panels. Use specialized tools and equipment such as welders, grinders, and paint sprayers to complete repairs. Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine the necessary repair procedures. Work closely with insurance companies and clients to assess repair needs and provide accurate estimates. Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Keep detailed records of repairs, parts used, and time taken. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely completion of repairs.

Proven experience as a panel beater or in vehicle body repair. Proficiency with welding, grinding, and other metalworking tools. Strong understanding of vehicle body structures and repair techniques. Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical drawings. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Good physical stamina and manual dexterity. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Relevant certifications or vocational training in vehicle body repair is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
