Position: Senior Network Consultant Datacom Location: Adelaide Security Requirements : Citizens only, NV1 preferred Full Time, Permanent Position. As a Senior Networks Consultant, your role is to deliver technical networking projects for our customers to the highest quality standard, within scope, to budget and on time. It is expected that you can think quick on your feet, be able to identify risks to schedule and actively minimise uncertainty. You will have experience with Cisco, Arista, Aruba and Fortinet or Palo Alto technologies. ** You must be an Australian Citizen and able to gain Australian Government Security Clearance to apply for this role, and preference will be given to candidates who already have current Baseline or NV1 clearance. No exceptions to this rule ** What You’ll Do As a Senior Network Consultant, you will: Develop your professional expertise with us across a range of applicable technologies to certification. Build constructive internal and external working relationships. Always adhere to company and client policies and procedures. Work on projects, properly scoped and signed off by the clients. Bring your expertise to the fore when designing solutions to project requirements. What You’ll Bring (Key and Desirable Skills - Will Need Most But Not All Of These): 7+ years of networking focused experience in IT. Cisco Router and Switch, SD-WAN and SDA (Calalyst Centre, DNAC), MPLS, WLC, DC Fabric/ACI and ISE (the latter two are only desirable) skills and experience essential. Fortinet Firewalls experience essential, FortiManager experience desirable. Palo Alto Firewall and Panorama experience Essential Knowledge of Zscaler, ACI, Cisco Wireless, Load Balancer (F5) and Cloud Networking would be an advantage, particularly with F5. Advanced understanding of building, designing and or supporting/diagnosing networks. Strong technical documentation skills to deliver Design and Support related documents for your solutions. Certification in two or more vendor technologies. Preferably Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Palo Alto or comparable to a Professional level or higher. CCNP highly desirable. Experience working in a client facing position with an MSP. Experience of implementing and delivering large/complex networks projects. Experience working with SA Government. In addition to the above, you will be highly motivated, self-reliant, technically proficient engineer; a strong team player who can also work autonomously when required.
