Job description
- Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments
- Experience working with Quality Management System Policies and Procedures
- Working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and Specifications
- Overall working knowledge of production processes
- Good communication skills written and verbal
- Good computing skills
- Maintain certifications as required
- Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies
- Verify that tools are qualified
- Prepare and maintain Quality records
- Work across equivalent or lower-level Inspector job codes as required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection.
Please note that experience in other industries will not be considered - aerospace assembly experience is required. - This position is subject to ITAR regulations; therefore, candidates must be U.S. citizens.
- Prompt and on time daily
- Ability to obtain all required training certifications and maintain certifications while on assignment
- Must be available to work any shift- 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift operations
- Available for periods of heavy overtime
- 5 years’ experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection
- Blueprint reading experience
- MS Office and SAP experience
- Experience writing NCRs (Tags)
