Physical Therapist (PT) – Acute Care & Inpatient Rehab

Overview

A new acute care hospital opening in 2026 in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join its growing rehabilitation team.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new facility launch, working across acute care and a dedicated inpatient rehab unit to help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence.

New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapy to restore mobility and function
• Monitor progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Document patient outcomes accurately and efficiently
• Educate patients and families on exercises and recovery plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Support safe patient transitions across care settings
• Mentor therapy assistants or students as needed

Required:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (or eligible) in Florida
• BLS within 30 days of hire

Preferred:

• 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience (acute care or inpatient rehab)
