What will you contribute? (Responsibility) Must-have: Pursuing or recently completed/graduated with a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, or related) Curious, open to feedback, and eager to learn complex domains (payments, accounts, risk). Disciplined and detail-oriented, keeping the bigger-picture system in mind. English proficiency — written and spoken (team operates in English). Clear communicator; collaborative and respectful teammate. Critical thinker — questions assumptions, spots inconsistencies, and asks "does this actually make sense?" before presenting results. Analytically minded — breaks complex problems into smaller parts and lets data guide conclusions over gut feel. Go-getter — takes initiative, raises their hand when they spot a gap, and follows through without being chased. Strong SQL — joins, window functions, CTEs, and aggregations. Strong Python for data analysis (pandas, numpy, matplotlib/seaborn, scikit-learn). Foundational understanding of statistics and ML concepts (regression, classification, clustering). Nice to have: Familiarity with cloud services (AWS — S3, Glue, Athena, or similar) Exposure to a lakehouse or data platform (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery) Experience with a BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, Looker) Familiarity with git and version control Prior internship, capstone project, or Kaggle experience involving real datasets Interest in FinTech, digital banking, or financial data Having a portfolio of personal projects is a plus
