Job description

Therapy Discoveries and Speech & Language Rehabilitation Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our established pediatric therapy team in Wallace We have proudly served our community for over 30 years and recently expanded into a larger, updated clinic at 112 Medical Village Drive, Suite A, Wallace, NC. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment alongside Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, and supportive administrative staff. We are hiring for both full-time and part-time positions. This is an in-office pediatric therapy role with no travel required. Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Active North Carolina COTA license, or eligibility for licensure Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant Passion for working with pediatric clients Strong communication skills Strong documentation skills Positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Provide high-quality pediatric occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist Assist children in developing fine motor, sensory, self-help, and functional skills Document patient progress and communicate effectively with supervising therapists and families Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation
