Video Editor

We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our dynamic team and contribute to compelling documentary-style storytelling projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape narratives that resonate with audiences and reflect authentic human experiences.

Responsibilities

• Edit documentary-style footage into clear and engaging narratives.
• Collaborate with creative leads to develop story structure and pacing.
• Work closely with producers to manage timelines and project deliverables.
• Integrate graphics and sound design to enhance storytelling.
• Handle multiple edits and revisions efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in video editing, particularly with documentary or editorial content.
• Strong storytelling instincts and a thoughtful editing style focused on authenticity.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with motion graphics and 2D animation.
• Background in sound design and audio mixing.
• A portfolio showcasing previous documentary and editorial work, particularly interview-driven pieces.
