  • The doorman manages the door with authority, anticipates arrivals, and makes tenants feel recognized, serving as the face of Rivani. Key Responsibilities
  • Greet tenants and guests by name with eye contact and genuine warmth; open and close doors with deliberate, anticipatory timing.
  • Manage vehicle and curbside activity at the porte-cochère with precision, coordinating with valet and assisting tenants discretely.

  • Verify and announce visitors and delivery personnel per access protocols while maintaining tenant privacy.
  • Learn and retain tenants' names, preferences, vehicles, and arrival patterns to personalize interactions.
  • Arrange and coordinate ground transportation accurately and urgently, ensuring readiness upon tenant arrival.
  • Maintain the physical condition and appearance of the entrance zone immaculately throughout shifts.
  • Communicate arrivals, departures, VIP notifications, and safety or service concerns in real-time to relevant teams.
  • Stay alert to safety issues and respond calmly and promptly to emergencies, escalating as needed without disrupting tenants. Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in a formal door, bell, front services, or guest services role at a luxury or five-star property, Class A residential building, or similar environment.
  • Ability to maintain composure, precision, and warmth in a high-volume, high-expectation setting.
  • Impeccable grooming, deportment, and physical bearing aligning with five-star standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to read tenant moods, pace, and preferences and adapt accordingly.
  • Clear, professional communication skills under pressure.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred due to community and location.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to shift requirements. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and remain alert in Miami's outdoor environment with heat, humidity, and weather considerations.
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
  • Physical ability to assist tenants in and out of vehicles.
  • Comfort with sustained outdoor, high-visibility, tenant-facing roles. Presentation & Conduct Standards
  • Adherence to the formal New York five-star hotel door service standards is mandatory.
  • Uniform: Wear the Rivani-issued uniform fully and properly, without modifications.
  • Grooming: Maintain impeccable personal hygiene and grooming as defined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Posture & Positioning: Maintain upright, attentive posture at the entrance; no leaning, phone use, or distractions.
  • Language & Tone: Use formal, polished language; greetings warm but not familiar; no casual or personal opinions.
  • Discretion: Maintain strict confidentiality of tenant information and observed personal circumstances.
