Job description
AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Administrative Assistant to provide clerical and administrative support the Water Business Lines in Denver, Colorado. The position will involve coordinating and supporting meetings and conferences, coordinating and tracking AECOM policy compliance, and providing general administrative support to water business line staff.
This position is expected to begin in May 2026.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Will work under general supervision of department and division managers
- Assists project and people managers on administrative tasks for various projects.
- Coordinates and tracks program compliance for various AECOM policies.
- Prepares or proofs correspondence, forms, spreadsheets, or documents.
- Schedules and coordinates meetings and prepare agendas and meeting minutes.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote), and other programs to accomplish work.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma.
- Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiar with professional office environment, practices, and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote), and other programs to accomplish work.
- Should have a good command of their communication skills, strong organizational skills, and a high degree of attention to detail.
- Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment.
- Exhibits initiative, responsibility and flexibility.
- Resourceful, highly organized, and detail oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Effective time-management and interpersonal Skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
