Job description

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the quality of raw materials , commodities and durable & consumable received, are acceptable per the appropriate quality attributes.

Responsibilities

  • Direct production line feedback between operations and QA
  • Address real-time production team questions
  • Split time between direct on floor support and desk work
  • Manage the collection and movement of samples between Tempe and West Contract Lab
    • Collect
    • Label
    • Transport
    • Data review of lab results and result authorization
  • Manage Batch history record elements on the floor
    • Line clearance
    • Line setup
    • Overall floor surveillance
    • SAP transactions (STO actions)
    • Batch record review on the floor
    • Verify batch record at startup and end of run
  • Accountable for accuracy of batch records and sample records
  • Segregate and document the rejected and experimental materials.
  • Keep current the specifications, procedures, documents in general from the area.
  • High School or GED with one (1) year of experience in the biologics or pharmaceutical industry, or Associate Degree in Science with 0 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of good manufacturing (GMP) and safety practices.
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience driving forklifts and handling materials preferred.
  • Basic knowledge in computer systems.
