About the Opportunity
We are now recruiting a 12 month fixed term contract role for a Fundraising Officer to work across our Business team supporting a broad swathe of schools and initiatives. With support from across the team, you will build relationships through face-to-face meetings with donors, alumni and friends of the University. Your support could accelerate research that challenges inequality at its roots, helping build workplaces that are fairer, more respectful and more inclusive for generations to come. Your work will not only have a huge impact but will also be considered one of the best things the donor and you, as a fundraiser, have ever achieved during your lifetime.

Is a natural relationship builder - you enjoy interacting with people one-on-one and fostering relationships with people at different levels and from different cultures
has excellent communication skills, both listening and written in order to develop compelling proposals that align to a prospective donor's interests
is strategic in their vision and can plan months, sometimes even years in advance
has highly developed emotional intelligence - you are self-aware with exceptional interpersonal skills
is a high-achiever and naturally driven by success both professionally and personally
has prior experience in development, fundraising, sales or relationship management
