THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a highly skilled PowerBuilder Developer with strong expertise in database management and advanced SQL query development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling complex business scenarios, particularly sales-related data analysis, working with large datasets, and implementing robust error handling mechanisms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using PowerBuilder.
• Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale databases.
• Handle big data operations efficiently, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Perform sales data analysis, including comparison and trend reporting.
• Identify and implement database optimization techniques for improved query performance.
• Implement robust error handling and troubleshooting mechanisms within applications and SQL processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy while working with large volumes of transactional and analytical data.
• Create documentation for database schemas, queries, and application logic.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

BONUS POINTS

• Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex database and application issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
