Job Summary:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Entering complex or ambiguous finance environments to assess challenges across people, processes, data, and systems
- Provide strategic financial leadership to clients, including providing interim services such as Head of Finance or Controller for organizations without dedicated finance leadership
- Identifying root‑cause issues and translating them into clear, pragmatic, and executable solutions
- Leading and delivering engagements across key Office of the CFO service areas, including:
- Transaction readiness and execution support (buy‑side and sell‑side)
- Finance advisory and transformation, including financial operations, process redesign, standardization, and optimization
- Management, external, and board‑level reporting improvements
- Supporting CFOs with board and audit committee communications, including financial reporting readiness, audit support, and executive‑level insights
- Serving as the day‑to‑day engagement lead, managing scope, timelines, and client expectations
- Working side‑by‑side with client teams to ensure solutions designed, implemented and sustained
- Coaching and developing consultants and senior associates
- Building strong, trust‑based relationships with CFOs, Controllers, board members, and executive stakeholders
- Contributing to practice growth through client expansion, solution development, and thought leadership
Education & Experience:
- 6+ years of experience in CFO Advisory, Transaction Advisory, Management Consulting, FP&A leadership, Finance Transformation, or Public Accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required
- CPA or Master’s degree (MBA, MAcc, or MS in Finance) required
- Strong foundation in accounting, finance operations, and financial reporting from previous consulting or industry experience required
- Experience supporting CFO‑level initiatives such as finance transformation, transactions, or regulatory readiness desired
- Proven ability to lead client engagements and manage multiple workstreams
- Experience developing and mentoring junior team members
