Sterilisation Assistant/Receptionist/ Dental Assistant |Lumino On Cambridge | Full-Time

As a Sterilisation Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring best practices are followed in the cleaning and sterilisation of instruments
• Maintaining strict infection control standards in line with New Zealand regulations
• Supporting the clinical team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

As a Receptionist, you will:

• Deliver a high standard of patient care and customer service
• Manage patient enquiries and coordinate appointments
• Process payments and support general administrative tasks
• Help create a welcoming and efficient front-desk experience

As a Dental Assistant, you will:

• Provide essential chairside support to our dental professionals
• Deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative clinical environment
• Maintain a high standard of clinical support and patient service

Hours

The hours for this role are flexible and open to discussion, with potential to increase up to five days per week depending on business needs.

• Monday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Wednesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm

We are looking for someone who has:

• Dental experience (an advantage, but not essential, full training provided for the right candidate)
• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
• A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Good computer skills (knowledge of Exact is an advantage)

Lumino on Cambridge is centrally located in Christchurch, directly opposite Riverside Market and The Terrace, and just a short walk from Hagley Park and the Botanic Gardens.
