Who We Are

XDS Bicycles is one of world’s largest vertically integrated bicycle manufacturers and the world’s largest producer of carbon-fiber frames; we are coming to the US for the first time featuring our X-LAB line-up of high performance bicycles. X-LAB’s manufacturing scale, carbon expertise, and vertical integration create a once-in-a-generation chance to disrupt this landscape. Since 1995, we have combined proprietary materials science with compelling design and highly automated production to deliver:

  • Over 8 million complete bikes annually across road, mountain, gravel, city and e-bike segments
  • More than 300,000 carbon frames per year from the world’s biggest dedicated carbon-fiber bike facility
  • 300+ international patents covering T1100+ carbon lay-ups and proprietary X6 aluminum alloys
  • Full vertical integration, ensuring speed-to-market, supply-chain resilience and cost leadership
  • OEM partnership with leading Western brands; and we’re now poised to build our own premium brand overseas

XDS USA is seeking its first Senior Brand & Visual Designer — a hands-on creative professional who can bring the brand to life across every touchpoint: marketing campaigns, product visuals, printed materials and packaging, and dealer environments.

You’ll shape how the world experiences XDS and X-LAB — from a digital ad to a bike box, from a race-day display to a retail rack. This is a rare opportunity to experience and help refine the design DNA of a global brand entering the U.S. market. Collaborate with our global creative team to produce the most inspiring and rewarding design work of your career.

What You’ll Do

Brand & Marketing Design

  • Lead creative direction and execution for marketing assets — including ads, campaign visuals, web and social content, catalogs, posters, app design merchandising, and trade show graphics.
  • Develop visual systems and templates for consistency across global and U.S. markets.
  • Partner with marketing to design launch materials for new bikes, campaigns, and dealer activations.
  • Ensure a consistent, premium brand language across all touchpoints.

Product & Packaging Design

  • Design bike paint schemes, decals, and component graphics that reflect the brand’s identity and performance ethos.
  • Oversee packaging design, including bike boxes, accessories, manuals, and hangtags — ensuring functionality, sustainability, and visual impact.
  • Collaborate with product and factory teams on material finishes, coatings, and color accuracy.

Dealer & Retail Design

  • Create in-store and dealer marketing materials: point-of-purchase displays, rack signage, banners, posters, and merchandising kits.
  • Develop trade show booth visuals and experiential graphics for U.S. events and expos.
  • Support the rollout of the U.S. dealer visual identity program.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with product, marketing, and supply chain teams across the U.S. and China.
  • Manage external design vendors, photographers, and printers when necessary.
  • Maintain strong visual standards and version control across digital and print assets.

Location: Santa Monica, CA (In-Person 5 Days/week)

You’re a Great Fit With

  • 6–10 years of experience in brand and visual design — ideally in consumer, outdoor and sporting goods, or mobility brands.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
  • Strong understanding of print production, packaging, and color management.
  • Experience designing across both digital and physical mediums — from social to booth displays to product graphics.
  • A refined aesthetic sense that balances performance, minimalism, and visual clarity.
  • Ability to work across time zones and manage multiple projects with tight timelines.
  • Passion for cycling, mobility, or design that moves people — literally and emotionally.

You’re a Spectacular Fit With

  • Interest in pop culture and understanding of bicycle design history
  • Familiarity with 3D and rendering tools (Keyshot, Blender, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Figma, After Effects, Premiere, and other design tools
