Job description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Executive to join our dynamic team in Mumbai, India. In this pivotal role, you will lead and inspire our housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service standards while maintaining seamless coordination across all hotel departments. As a Housekeeping Executive, you will be instrumental in ensuring guest satisfaction, maintaining operational excellence, and fostering a collaborative work environment that promotes both productivity and employee development.
- Establish and maintain effective coordination and cooperation with all hotel departments to maximize productivity, team morale, and guest service delivery
- Lead, motivate, and develop housekeeping staff through ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure smooth departmental operations and promote teamwork
- Conduct regular briefings and training sessions for housekeeping attendants, maintaining comprehensive training records and ensuring all safety protocols are understood and implemented
- Interact with guests and hotel personnel in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner, addressing concerns with empathy and promptness
- Respond to guest queries and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain service excellence
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, hotel standards, and safety provisions by all departmental employees through consistent monitoring and enforcement
- Provide effective support and guidance to team members, enabling them to deliver efficient and high-quality housekeeping services
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators for departmental employees, providing constructive feedback and recommendations to the Executive Housekeeper
- Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and quality assurance to optimize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Foster an inclusive and supportive work environment that encourages open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement

**Required Experience:**
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in housekeeping operations or hotel management
- Proven experience in supervising and managing housekeeping teams
- Background in the hospitality industry with demonstrated success in guest service delivery
- Experience coordinating with multiple departments in a hotel or corporate environment
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Hospitality management certification or relevant training
- Experience with hotel management systems and scheduling software
- Knowledge of international housekeeping standards and best practices
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a luxury or upscale property
**Education:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or business-related qualification is preferred
