Benefit Programs Specialist III

The Clarke County Department of Social Services is a part of the Virginia Social Services System. Our agency is the central resource dedicated to delivering public assistance, child welfare, and aging and adult services to the people of Clarke County. Our small, manageable caseloads allow for greater flexibility with schedules, increased engagement with our citizens, and better work-life balance. Clarke County Department of Social Services is currently accepting applications for the position of Benefits Program Specialist III. This position will be responsible for receiving and processing initial eligibility applications and determining ongoing eligibility, and assessing needs for benefit programs including, but not limited to, Medicaid and SNAP.
