System engineer for virtualized system environments (m/f/d)

To ensure the reliable operation of the applications we develop, we provide our customers with managed cloud environments if required. Depending on requirements, the services range from operating simple web servers accessible from the internet to firewall-secured dedicated Kubernetes clusters with geo-redundancy, zero data loss DBs and 24/7 SLAs.

Administration, maintenance, monitoring and expansion of our entire infrastructure at various data center locations Monitoring, optimization and expansion of security measures to ward off IT threats and ensure IT security Automation of routine tasks with shell scripts and tools Cooperation with our IT team, the internal and external infrastructure team and our database admins Documentation of the used management tools and systems and creation of emergency plans Participation in on-call duties outside normal working hours

Practical experience in virtualization environments, especially with KVM Know-how in the creation of shell scripts under Linux Ideally experience in using automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform Very good English skills Creativity, independence and enjoyment of teamwork
