Anesthesia Technician, Days

Responsibilities The Anesthesia Technician prepares the surgical environment with essential equipment and supplies for the provision of anesthesia or sedation, assists other members of the health care team in the delivery of patient care, and functions in a supportive role for efficiency in care access. The major focus of the position is on the preparation and handling of physiological monitors, maintenance of gas machines and anesthesia cart supplies, as well as room set-up and cleaning between procedures. The technician applies knowledge of growth and development and administers care and use of equipment applicable to the age and needs of the patient population served. Qualifications No experience required. We provide comprehensive on the job training.
