What We Offer Join our Med/Surg 3 team at Novant Health NHRMC! We’re hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for Med/Surg 3 (9th Floor), a dynamic unit caring for adult patients with diverse needs — including IV therapy, wound care, ports, G-tubes, dialysis, and occasional stable trachs. Our team partners closely with local Primary Care and Specialty Providers to enhance communication, streamline discharges, and reduce readmissions through strong, collaborative relationships. Schedule & Rotation Details This role offers a rotating schedule designed to provide well-rounded experience and long-term stability: 3 months on Day Shift (7am–7pm) 3 months on Night Shift (7pm–7am) After three completed rotations, nurses transition to a set, permanent schedule on either day shift or night shift. What You'll Do Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assessments, IV management, wound care, and hands‑on hygiene support to ensure safe, high‑quality outcomes Delegate tasks effectively to ancillary team members, fostering strong teamwork and smooth daily workflow Coordinate patient needs across the care continuum, including partnering with the dialysis unit for patients requiring specialized treatment Maintain accurate, timely documentation while supporting a stable, collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and long‑term career mobility Thrive in a setting that values work/life balance, passion for patient care, and ongoing development through supportive leadership and a strong team culture What We're Looking For Education : 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course. Experience : One year of Nursing Experience, required. For applicants with less than one year of nursing experience in an RN capacity, please refer to the RN Residency Program. One year relevant experience, preferred.
