What you'll do As a Senior Manager of Technical Program Management, you will lead a team of TPMs supporting complex, cross functional initiatives across the Product and Technology organization. You will also establish and grow our TPM presence in the India Development Center. As the first full time TPM manager in IDC, this role will be critical in building local leadership, developing talent, and creating a strong foundation for long term scale. You will partner closely with leaders across Engineering, Product, Business Operations, and Finance to drive execution, improve planning and delivery visibility, and support a broad portfolio of product, platform, and infrastructure work. This role requires a strong people leader who can coach and develop talent, bring structure to ambiguity, and build trusted partnerships across local and global teams. This position is a people manager role reporting to the Senior Director of Technology Development and Operations. Responsibility Lead, coach, and develop a team of TPMs, including goal setting, performance management, mentoring, and career growth Establish and grow the TPM presence in the India Development Center, building a strong local foundation for the function Hire and onboard TPM talent in IDC, while shaping team structure, role clarity, and long term capability needs Serve as a visible leader in IDC, strengthening organizational connectivity and building strong partnerships across India and US based teams Program Execution and Operational Rigor Drive complex, cross functional programs across product, platform, infrastructure, and operational domains with clear plans, milestones, dependencies, and accountability Partner with Engineering, Product, Business Operations, and Finance leaders to align business priorities with technical execution across a broad portfolio of work Support annual, quarterly, and in quarter planning by improving clarity around priorities, sequencing, dependencies, risks, and resourcing Establish strong governance, operating rhythms, and stakeholder review cadences that improve delivery visibility, decision making, and escalation management Build and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and executive updates that provide clear insight into progress, risks, tradeoffs, and execution health Improve team processes, operating models, and delivery practices to increase consistency, transparency, and operational rigor across the organization Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic 3+ years of people management experience 8+ years of experience leading complex technical programs across software, platform, infrastructure, or enterprise environments Experience leading and mentoring program managers or cross functional contributors in technical organizations Experience supporting globally distributed engineering organizations and delivery models Experience driving large scale cross functional initiatives involving Engineering, Product, and business stakeholders Experience supporting planning, prioritization, execution management, and delivery governance across multiple teams Experience synthesizing data from multiple sources and presenting clear, actionable insights to leadership and execution teams Experience curating program metrics and creating dashboards or scorecards for overall project health and progress Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience Preferred Strong organizational skills with ability to deal with ambiguity, multitask, and work independently in a fast paced, evolving environment Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Experience with capacity planning, location strategy, workforce planning, or resource allocation Strong and thoughtful approach to problem solving and delivering practical solutions Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across a matrixed environment Ability to develop strong cross team relationships and partnerships across multiple functions Experience building trusted partnerships with senior leaders and improving operating models across teams Ability to translate broad business and technical goals into clear execution plans Life at Docusign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
