Key Responsibilities:

  1. Pre-Opening Marketing Strategy:

    • Develop and implement a detailed pre-opening marketing plan to build brand awareness and drive interest in Fairmont Mumbai.
    • Coordinate with corporate marketing teams to ensure alignment with global Fairmont branding and promotional guidelines.
  2. Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct thorough market research to understand target demographics, competitors, and market trends in Mumbai’s luxury hospitality sector.
    • Utilize insights to tailor marketing strategies and campaigns effectively.
  3. Digital and Social Media Marketing:

    • Create and manage engaging content for the hotel’s website, social media channels, and email marketing campaigns.
    • Oversee the development and execution of SEO, SEM, and social media advertising strategies.
  4. Public Relations and Media Outreach:

    • Build and maintain relationships with local, national, and international media to generate buzz and positive coverage for the hotel.
    • Organize and manage press events, media visits, and promotional activities.
  5. Partnerships and Promotions:

    • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and travel agencies to enhance visibility and drive bookings.
    • Develop and manage promotional offers and packages to attract and engage potential guests.
  6. Event Planning and Execution:

    • Plan and execute pre-opening events, such as launch parties, VIP previews, and community engagements, to create excitement and generate media interest.
    • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful event delivery.
  7. Brand Management:

    • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and channels.
    • Monitor and manage brand reputation, addressing any potential issues or negative feedback.
  8. Performance Tracking and Reporting:

    • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and activities using relevant metrics and KPIs.
    • Provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management on marketing effectiveness and ROI.

 

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably luxury hotels.
    • Proven track record of successful pre-opening marketing campaigns and brand launches.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
    • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems, social media platforms).
    • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
