A Day in the Life

A Day in The Life Of:

• Develop, edit, and maintain operator instructions, technical documentation, and user guides
• Produce documentation that conforms to Medtronic documentation and quality assurance standards
• Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to gather and accurately document technical information
• Ensure documentation is clear, consistent, accurate, and user focused
• Create, edit, and manage documents using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Leverage AI tools to improve documentation efficiency and consistency
• Maintain document control, formatting standards, and version management in accordance with internal procedures

Key Skills & Experience

• Level 7 qualification in an engineering or technical discipline (or equivalent)
• High level of attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a good command of written English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Solid technical knowledge with the ability to understand and interpret engineering information
• Experience or strong interest in developing operator instructions or technical documentation
• Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies

Nice to Have

• Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
• Proficiency with Photoshop or other image editing software
• Experience with document automation, including VBA in Word and/or Excel
• Familiarity with Medtronic quality systems and document control processes

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).
