Job description
The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is currently hiring for a part-time Banquet Bartender in our campus Hospitality department. The UOES division oversees the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions, while also supporting student life, academic initiatives, research activities, and annual milestone celebrations.
Banquet Bartender
As a Banquet Bartender, you will have the opportunity to serve beverages in a variety of locations and work various types of events across campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare drinks for guests in a fast-paced environment
- Monitor/stock bar supplies
- Assist with setting up/tearing down events
- Provide exceptional hospitality and customer service to guests
- Assist catering team as needed (working events such as buffets, served meals and receptions)
- Must be eligible to obtain a valid Indiana Bartender’s license
- Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision
- Positive, respectful, and committed to the schedule you create
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours at a time)
- Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products
Pay Rate: $17.50/hr + gratuity
