Overview – Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Data Specialist with a strong focus on data entry to join our team. This is a full-time position, expected to work a consistent 40 hours per week. In this role you will demonstrate basic knowledge of ADP, any ERP system, and proficiency in Microsoft Office ,ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance within organizational and legal standards.

Based in Mumbai , this will be a hybrid role responsible for supporting global operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry and Maintenance - review and input employee master data into ADP and Deltek Costpoint, ensuring compliance with company policy as well as local, state and federal regulations maintaining and updating payroll records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide the necessary Employee Support by addressing the basic payroll-related inquiries from employees and escalate complex issues as needed and by supporting the onboarding process by ensuring new hire payroll data is entered correctly.
  • Systems Utilization while working with ADP and ERP systems to manage payroll data and generate reports as needed while leveraging Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) for data management and communication.
  • Manage compliance and reporting by ensuring payroll processes alignment with company policies and government regulations while assisting with preparing and distributing payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field along with a basic knowledge of ADP payroll systems
  • Familiarity with any ERP system (e.g., Deltek, SAP, Workday, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry along with excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Basic understanding of payroll principles and compliance requirements
  • Previous experience in a payroll or administrative role and US payroll experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of payroll rules and regulations and experienced in handling sensitive and confidential information
