Job description
Commercial leader to own and scale Retail Media partnerships across APAC & EU. This role combines team leadership, strategic account ownership, and revenue delivery, with a strong focus on CPG brands and agency groups.
You will lead a team responsible for execution and pipeline development, while personally driving the most strategic partnerships and multi-market deals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Ownership & Commercial Leadership
Own and deliver regional Retail Media revenue targets across CPG, agencies, and non-endemic partners
Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline with clear conversion plans
Lead commercial strategy for multi market deals, ensuring consistency in pricing, packaging, and deal structures
2. Team Leadership & Performance Management
Lead and develop a team of partnership managers / sales leads
Set clear targets, pipeline expectations, and performance standards
Drive accountability on execution quality, not just activity
Coach the team on negotiations, deal structuring, and senior client engagement
3. Strategic Account Ownership
Personally own and grow relationships with top regional CPGs and agency groups
Lead negotiations for high-value, multi-market partnerships
Build long-term JBPs embedding Retail Media as a core investment pillar
Act as executive sponsor for key accounts
4. Agency & CPG Growth Engine
Unlock agency budgets (WPP, Dentsu, Publicis, etc.) to drive incremental demand
Convert top CPGs into always-on Retail Media investors
Scale regional deals into structured, repeatable frameworks
5. Cross-functional & Market Leadership
Partner with local commercial and QC teams to ensure strong execution
Align with product and AdOps to scale solutions and unlock inventory
6. Operating Model & Scalability
Build and standardize best-in-class ways of working (pipeline management, program selling, JBPs)
Improve forecasting accuracy and commercial discipline across markets
Ensure the team operates with clear ownership and prioritization
6+ years in Retail Media, Digital Advertising, Media Agencies, brand or retailer side on eCommerce related role, ideally within FMCG field
Proven experience leading commercial teams and delivering revenue targets
Strong track record closing high-value partnerships with CPGs, media agencies, or retailers.
Deep expertise in CPG and agency ecosystems
Exceptional negotiation skills with fluency in English and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Ability to move from strategy → deal → execution without dropping the ball
Experience building and scaling high-performing teams
Hands-on leader who still closes deals personally
High ownership
Experience managing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
