The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services team:

The Enterprise Services Business Solutions (ESBS) Organization is a shared service across RTX. These services include payroll, accounts payable, travel and expense, accounts receivable, procurement, records management, accounting, and more, all aimed at supporting the core operations of RTX.  We currently have multiple projects focused on Records and Information Management (RIM). To support these initiatives, ESBS is seeking a Portfolio Lead to join our PMO/Transformation Organization.   The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of collaborating with various functional teams. They will also need strong communication skills to effectively provide management with updates on status, risks, and mitigation plans.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee the execution of project management activities, including project schedules, key decisions, resource allocation, financials, requirements, issues, risks, and dependencies.
  • Address complex issues and challenges within projects, including tactful executive escalations and driving critical decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Process Owner and Business Relationship Manager (BRM).
  • Assist PMO Director with capital projects submittals and working with leadership on project prioritization.
  • Develop compelling materials to communicate the project's value delivery story clearly and effectively to senior and executive leaders.
  • Build trust and foster collaborative relationships with digital and functional executive sponsors, ensuring alignment with their strategic interests and viewpoints.
  • Travel ~20% within US

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • A University Degree in Legal, Information Management, or a related field and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
  • 7+ years’ experience as a Project Manager
  • 7+ years of proven experience in Records Management: Proven experience in managing records management projects, including understanding of records lifecycle, retention schedules, and compliance requirements.
  • 5+ years of knowledge of Regulatory Requirements: Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards related to records management, such as ISO 15489, GDPR, and other relevant laws and regulations.
  • 5+ years of Technical Expertise: Experience with records management systems (RMS) and related technologies, including electronic document management systems (EDMS), as well as knowledge of record storage and destruction processes.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working in a government and/or large, complex corporate/industrial environment.
  • Certified Records Manager (CRM), Certified Information Professional (CIP) or similar certification.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to recordkeeping in the aerospace and defense or similar highly regulated industries.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Work Location: This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside within commuting distance of Farmington, CT, Richardson, TX, Cedar Rapids, IA, or Tucson, AZ.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
