Join our successful Wealth Solutions team in its next growth phase Deliver high quality global benefits advice and services to clients Full time permanent opportunity with flexible work arrangements Consultant Our Wealth Solutions team sits within Aon’s broader Human Capital Solutions business. We help our clients drive business performance and manage risk through people. You would be joining a team of +130 people who are trusted advisors to boards and management across an array of specialist areas including governance, executive and broad-based reward strategy, incentive plan design, pay equity, compensation data, analytics and insights, people analytics, talent assessment, employee benefits, well-being, wealth solutions, workers compensation and employee health & safety. What the day will look like The Consultant is responsible for delivering high quality global benefits advice and services to clients, driving projects to completion within agreed timeframes and budgets, and contributing to revenue growth and business development. The role involves: Providing advice on superannuation and insurance arrangements, including signing reports for companies to implement advice Managing client relationships and taking a lead account management role for clients (including developing to take a lead on large clients) Supporting the development and marketing of new consulting services Supporting the training and development of team members Staying up to date with developments in superannuation, employee benefits, insurance, financial management and the financial advice profession How this opportunity is different As an Aon colleague, you will never be limited by your job title. Skills and experience that will lead to success You’re comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment and you’re ready to a step up into a role that combines technical work and client interaction. To be successful you will have: Must be on the Financial Adviser Register Experience (7+ years) in a consulting environment (preferably with at least 5 years post financial adviser qualification) Experience dealing with staff and clients at all levels, including senior management and insurers Significant understanding of employee benefits including benefit design of group insurance arrangements, superannuation and other employee benefits on a global basis Exposure to board or executive management operations at either a corporate or trustee level Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels Ability to sell client services and identify business opportunities Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (or equivalent) (preferred) How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
