In accordance with CHLA policy, candidates must establish primary residency in California prior to their start date. Schedule: M-F. Although this role is designated as remote, occasional on site presence is required. Team members rotate into the office approximately one day per month, and candidates should be comfortable with this level of flexibility. In addition, on site support may be needed for certain employee relations activities, such as scheduled meetings or leader requested in person support. Purpose Statement/Position Summary: Under general direction, is responsible for leading employee relations investigations. Provides direction and strategy on Employee Relations (ER) initiatives and investigates individual employee relations cases under occasional guidance. Collaborates with Human Resources business partners and leaders to resolve ER cases while maintaining close coordination with colleagues internal and external to HR. Provides guidance and facilitates the accommodation process. Assists with HR initiatives and programs in a confidential capacity to formulate, determine and effectuate management policies. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 5 years employee relations experience required. Education/Licensure/Certification: Required: Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent related work experience in a related field required. High school diploma and 9 years of related work experience required. Preferred: Employment Investigation Certification (preferred) Pay Scale Information USD $88,962.00 - USD $152,506.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
