What you will be doing 

Manages a large team or multiple smaller teams which would typically consist of both experienced technical/professional colleagues and managers.

Focus on tactical and operational plans with short-to mid-term focus (e.g., 1-2 years) or may manage a project or program of significant size and impact to the company.

Problems faced may be difficult to moderately complex.

Influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures OR may be a recognized master in a technical discipline.

What you bring: 

• 15+ years of experience in test automation / quality engineering, including 5+ years designing or owning test automation frameworks
• Strong hands-on programming skills in one or more of: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#; solid understanding of OOP and clean code practices
• Proven ability to design and build scalable functional test automation frameworks for complex, multi-product enterprise platforms
• Expertise in browser-based UI automation (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress) with strong focus on stable locator strategies, page-object patterns, and flake reduction
• Expertise in mobile test automation for iOS and Android (e.g., Appium, Maestro) including device coverage strategy across phones/tablets and OS versions
• Experience with API testing and service-level automation (REST, JSON, XML) and integrating API + UI automation into cohesive test strategies
• Strong experience with CI/CD integration (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) including test gating, parallel execution, reporting, and artifacts (screenshots/videos/traces/logs)
• Solid understanding of test data strategy and environment configuration (repeatable runs, data setup/cleanup, secrets/config management)
• working knowledge of containers and modern runtime environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and Linux-based development/tooling
• Experience designing test reporting and quality metrics that enable fast triage and continuous improvement across multiple teams
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills; ability to drive standards and adoption across distributed teams
• domain experience in payments / money movement / digital banking is a strong plus (e.g., payment rails, compliance/regulatory considerations, high availability expectations)
• Optional: experience with performance or resilience testing practices and/or observability tooling (logs/metrics/traces) to strengthen end-to-end quality signals
