Part Time; InpatientAssesses nutrition status of assigned patients and implement all components of the nutrition care process, according to food and nutrition department policies and local regulatory standards (IDPH, TJC, CMS, etc.). Monitors and evaluates nutrition interventions, makes appropriate adjustments to plans, as needed, and reports results of quality outcomes in the inpatient and outpatient setting. An entry level position to a professional career progression.

We’re seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary care team. In this role, you’ll partner with patients, families, and clinicians to deliver personalized nutrition interventions that improve outcomes across the continuum of care.
What You’ll Do
- Assess, interpret, plan, monitor, and document patients’ nutritional status and needs using evidence‑based standards of care, policies, and clinical practice guidelines.
- Conduct comprehensive, nutrition‑focused physical exams to inform individualized care plans.
- Deliver age‑appropriate, culturally responsive nutrition care that supports patients and their families.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute care plans aligned with patient health goals.
- Educate patients, caregivers, students, and healthcare colleagues on therapeutic diets and nutrition support strategies to maintain or improve nutritional status.
- When assigned, support and supervise daily infant formula preparation, including identifying requirements and calculating individualized recipes to meet each infant’s nutritional needs.
- Participate in departmental initiatives focused on enhancing patient experience and satisfaction.
- Stay current with nutrition research and best practices, integrating new evidence into daily clinical practice.
- Perform other related duties as needed to support patient care and departmental goals.
What You Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or Family & Consumer Science with ACEND (Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics) requirements completed.
- Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure within 6 months of hire) as a Dietitian with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay Range: $24.33 – $37.73 USD
